For over 25 years, Joe has traveled the world as a professional improviser, teacher, director, and coach. He specializes in improvisation for stage, business, and life and has facilitated training in numerous industries for everyone from new hires to CEOs (he even coaches actors who are auditioning for Saturday Night Live). Joe uses his experience to train in the areas of presentation, selling, leadership, management, customer service, brainstorming, team building, collaboration, and communication.

Joe has served as Senior Director of Training for iO Theater in Chicago for a decade and is a Master Facilitator for Ferrazzi Greenlight. From 1995-2005, Joe worked as an esteemed faculty member for The Forum Corporation, a leading training company specializing in presentation, business writing, and selling skills. He also has expertise when it comes to assessment tools like Myers-Briggs, Keirsey 16 types, Gallup StrengthsFinder, Bolton & Bolton People Styles.
Theater Experience
- Well-traveled improviser/director/teacher/artistic advisor who has worked in North America, Europe, and South Africa. Affiliated with iO Theater, Annoyance Theater (co-founder), and The Second City, all in Chicago. Also affiliated with Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), Peoples Improv Theater (PIT), and The Magnet Theater, all in New York City.
- Has performed, taught, directed and/or coached at every major improv festival in North America over the last 25 years.
- Selected as the American Improviser to perform with the 12 member International Ensemble in IMPROMANIA! 2014 in Berlin, Germany for the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Berlin Wall coming down.
